Waterfalls at Bangata in the Meru Region

Waterfall at Bangata
Today we left the church in a land cruiser and did we need it! We experienced the water fall at Bangata. The ride up was a challenge, many ruts, bumps, and ditches. A little backsliding, but we all do that from time to time. The area of Mt. Meru/Bangata is so rich with green growth and crops. Even the grass looks like grass back home. Many people live in this area, houses range from rustic to very modern.

Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, you did it!

Lori, what small hands you have.

Careful Katherine!

This church was just a shell in 2008
when I was last here.
Only a very small part of the church is being used.
The wooden front depics the outside of the church.
It is like a cathedral it is so big!
See the design reflected on the inside.
